Every good content strategy starts with timely releases—and I ideated this script on the spot during a year-end strategy session. Through a combination of federal account dates and internal events, the script is relevant to all Canadians yet remains uniquely TD.

Black Friday Social Campaign—Google Nest

To evoke quality, prestige and luxury, I wrote with the principle of ‘gifting yourself’ a Google Nest smart thermostat for Black Friday. I wrote static, carousel and video ads as well as a landing page that guided viewers to a redemption code valid at The Home Depot.

6IX Beats Ad Campaign

I collaborated with art director Josh Dacucos to develop an ad campaign showcasing 6IXBuzz's new beat store. I came up with music-specific headlines emphasizing affordability, which Josh translated into visual elements. The campaign is live on all their social channels – boasting an audience of over 2 million followers!

Wexmark Website Copy

I had complete creative control when writing for Wexmark – a custom home builder in Toronto. The messaging focuses on accessible luxury through sustainable practices, ergonomic materials and inviting-yet-sophisticated language. I further distinguished the brand from other developers by entailing their high level of visual literacy and architectural involvement.

Weldtech Magazine Ad

I wrote a direct-response advertisement for Weldtech to be featured in trade and recruitment publishings. The headline, ‘Learn on-site, not on-line’ summarizes that training takes place in person despite COVID-19 – followed with details on safety protocols and further program benefits. Despite writing this as an intern, the first draft was approved with no edits required.

The Gang's All Here—Smart Thermostat Commercial

Under the creative direction of "The Gang's All Here" I was instructed to write copy that connected smart thermostat features to our adorable and furry chosen family! My narrative was included in a video advertisement that lead to a smart thermostat rebate offer at The Home Depot.
